There’s a great choice of accommodation to suit different family sizes and budgets, from self-catering cabins ranging from Comfort to Premium, including lakeside cabins for a more special stay. Larger families or groups can opt for spacious lodges, while safari tents and traditional campsite pitches offer a more outdoorsy experience. There are also apartments available, giving families plenty of flexibility depending on how they like to holiday.
Getting there
La Croix du Vieux Pont is a car-friendly countryside stay, around 2.5–3 hours from Calais, making it an easy French road-trip option from the UK. Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is around 50–60 minutes away by car, while Soissons train station is approximately 20 minutes away, with Compiègne around 30 minutes away. For Paris days out, the park is around 90 minutes from central Paris by car, although you can also use the train from nearby stations, and Disneyland Paris is around 70–90 minutes by car. The closest town is Vic-sur-Aisne, around 5 minutes away, while Compiègne is approximately 30 minutes by car.

Easy from the UK: P&O is often the cheapest Channel crossing option, while LeShuttle is the quickest, taking around 35 minutes from Folkestone to Calais.
A smaller Eurocamp: La Croix du Vieux Pont is smaller and more compact than some of Eurocamp’s larger parks, which can make it easier for families with younger children to get around.
The lake is a highlight: There’s a beautiful lake with a man-made beach, plus a lakeside bar and restaurant, making it a lovely spot for a relaxed afternoon.
Plenty for older children: There’s an arcade and dedicated teen lounge with snooker and other games, giving older kids somewhere to hang out beyond the pool and activities.
Rainy-day backup: The indoor pool, soft play and bowling mean you can still keep the children entertained when the French weather decides otherwise.
Easy first-night dinner: The café overlooking the pool and pizza takeaway are perfect for your first evening, particularly after a long drive when nobody wants to unpack the car and cook dinner.
