Introduction
Set just minutes from Disneyland Paris in Marne-la-Vallée, France, Grand Magic Hotel is a colourful, theatrical stay designed to keep the magic going beyond the park gates. With circus-inspired interiors, an indoor pool and family-friendly facilities, it feels much more special than your average budget hotel. We love it as a more affordable way to stay near Disneyland Paris, giving families plenty of Disney-style magic without the Disney hotel price tag.
Why families will love it

Lake and walking paths: A lovely spot for a stroll and some fresh air away from the parks.

Good to Know
You don’t need a car: The hotel has a free shuttle to and from Disneyland Paris, making it a practical choice if you’re travelling by train or flying. The shuttle can get very busy, particularly after the evening parades, so expect to wait or consider an alternative for the journey back.
Parking costs extra: On-site parking is available for around €15 per night, so factor this into your budget if you’re driving.
Two dining options: There’s a more casual bar serving dishes such as burgers, as well as Chez Maurice, the hotel’s buffet restaurant. The buffet operates without reservations and is first come, first served.
The buffet can be busy: If you want to eat at Chez Maurice, I’d head down early, particularly during school holidays and after a full day at Disney. The hotel’s current themed buffet events are priced at €35 per adult and €17 per child, although standard buffet pricing can vary, so check the official website before booking
Eat more cheaply nearby: For a more budget-friendly dinner, head into Magny-le-Hongre, where you'll find a wider choice of restaurants, including more casual and family-friendly options. The nearby Val d’Europe area also has restaurants and a large shopping centre.
Think about when you travel: School holidays and weekends are likely to be busiest, particularly around Disneyland Paris events and peak periods. If you can travel midweek or outside school holidays, you'll generally have a calmer experience around the hotel and parks.
“Tasha personally stayed at Grand Magic Hotel for one night with her two children as part of a Disneyland Paris trip, using it as a fun and more affordable alternative to staying at a Disney hotel. The children loved the colourful, theatrical atmosphere, but the nightly light show in the foyer was a particular highlight, making the evening feel like part of the Disney experience rather than simply a place to sleep. The indoor pool, bouncy castle and free shuttle to the parks add plenty of family-friendly extras, while the hotel’s magical design gives it that special holiday feeling without the Disney price tag. For families visiting Disneyland Paris who want maximum magic without the maximum price
