Eurocamp: Le Croix du vieux pont, paris

If you’re looking for a family-friendly holiday park that offers fantastic amenities, great value for money, and a convenient location near Calais, then Le Croix du Vieux Pont Eurocamp is a perfect choice. Nestled in Berny-Rivière, just over an hour from Disneyland Paris, this holiday park is packed with activities for all ages, making it an ideal base for a fun-filled family getaway.

we picked this Eurocamp as part of the Sun Holidays deal and stayed for only £41 for 3 nights! I would definitely recommend looking out for it when they run it during the year.

After we booked the Eurocamp, we realised how close it was to Disneyland Paris so we decided to visit one day. You can read about where we stayed the night before here

A Convenient Location for UK Families

One of the biggest advantages of Le Croix du Vieux Pont is its prime location, making it an excellent choice for families traveling from the UK. Situated just 2.5 hours from Calais, it’s a straightforward drive for those arriving via the Eurotunnel or ferry, eliminating the hassle of long travel times with kids in tow. The journey is smooth, with well-maintained roads and scenic countryside along the way, making the drive part of the adventure.

Swimming Complex

  • The park boasts a large indoor and outdoor pool complex, perfect for all weather conditions.

  • Waterslides, a lazy river, and splash zones keep kids entertained for hours.

  • A separate toddler-friendly pool ensures even the youngest family members can enjoy the water safely.

Activities & Entertainment

  • Adventure playgrounds, trampolines, and mini-golf offer endless fun for kids.

  • Bowling alley, laser tag, and arcade games keep older children entertained.

  • Canoeing and pedal boats on the lake add an exciting outdoor element.

Beautiful Lake & Outdoor Fun

  • The park’s scenic lake is perfect for picnics, walks, and even fishing.

  • Bike rentals allow families to explore the beautiful countryside.

  • The on-site beach area provides a unique touch. We spent most of our time here!

days out

Beyond its accessibility, the holiday park is also perfectly positioned for exciting day trips. At just 1 hour and 15 minutes from Paris, families can easily explore the Eiffel Tower, Louvre, or even take a relaxing boat cruise along the Seine before returning to the peace and quiet of the park in the evening. Meanwhile, for those planning a magical trip to Disneyland Paris, the resort is only 1 hour and 20 minutes away, making it a fantastic base for a mix of theme park thrills and countryside relaxation. Rather than staying in the busy and expensive Disneyland hotels, families can enjoy a more spacious and affordable stay, with the added benefit of on-site activities to unwind after a day at the parks.

The park runs a shuttle bus to Disneyland during the peak seasons, check the website for more details.

The Holiday Homes

One of the biggest advantages of staying here is the range of affordable accommodation options. Families can choose from Eurocamp holiday homes, which provide all the essentials for a home-away-from-home experience, glamping tents for a more adventurous stay with added comfort, or spacious lodges that offer a bit of extra luxury.

We stayed in the Comfort 3 bed Lodge which was one of their basic lodges. It had everything we needed and had a lovely terrace and private garden with loungers. You also have an allocated parking space in front of your lodge.

Another key way to save money is by taking advantage of self-catering facilities. Unlike hotels where you're tied to expensive restaurant meals, the accommodations at Le Croix du Vieux Pont come equipped with kitchens. The on-site mini-market and nearby supermarkets make Intermarche shopping convenient.
