Good to Know

  • A car is recommended: The yurt is in a peaceful countryside location and having a car makes it much easier to explore the island and reach the beaches and family attractions.

  • Godshill is walkable: The village is around 10 minutes on foot, with pubs, cafés, shops and a small grocer for those essentials.

  • Book your ferry early: Ferry prices can get surprisingly pricey, particularly during school holidays, so booking as far in advance as possible can help you secure a better fare.

  • Great family days out nearby: Don't miss Shanklin Chine, The Needles and The Garlic Farm, all brilliant options for a family day out on the Isle of Wight.

  • Best time to visit: Spring through early autumn is ideal for making the most of the beaches, countryside and outdoor space, although the insulated yurt, wood-burning stove and cosy interiors make it suitable for a year-round getaway.

We love Tree Field Yurt for its brilliant location near Godshill, with the beautiful beaches around Ventnor and some of the Isle of Wight’s best family adventures within easy reach. It’s also such a unique and stylish stay, giving families the fun of glamping without compromising on comfort
